Ocean Discovery Institute

The mission of Ocean Discovery Institute is to engage, educate, and inspire youth from urban and diverse backgrounds through science-based exploration of the ocean and nature, preparing them to be tomorrow's scientific and environmental leaders. Our Vision is to empower urban and diverse youth to protect our ocean and natural environment, improve the health of our communities, and strengthen the quality of life in our world.

San Diego Coastkeeper

San Diego Coastkeeper is a locally-based non-profit organization and is San Diego's official agency of the international Waterkeeper Alliance, which works to protect the world's waterways. Coastkeeper protects the region's bays, beaches, watersheds and ocean for the people and wildlife that depend on them. We balance community outreach, education, and advocacy to promote stewardship of clean water and a healthy coastal ecosystem.
